Floc - Salvi, 2013
Floc, “snow ake” in Catalan, is a “warm and silent” light that can be used in a variety of situations in both domestic or professional spaces. The round head, the conical body... two simple shapes that blend design with advanced technological research.
Floc consists of a head built in anodized aluminum that contains a printed LED circuit; a nickel-plated brass joint allowing a great freedom of movement, a removable methacrylate di user with magnets and a pressured die-cast aluminium body. The light intensity can be regulated through the switch creating a personal and versatile relationship with the user. Floc is not just an object, but a “delicate” presence where the light prevails over the shape.
